Debunking the Steve Albini Connection
As awesome as this album is, it has nothing to do with the Park.
I only posted that because it's a question I get sometimes from Indie Rock Dudes of a Certain Age.
I wish there was a connection, but sadly, the albums got a map of another park on the inside of its jacket. Action Park was a common name, there was one in the Poconos, I think. And there's one in Kentucky, and in Illinois, and in Orlando...
@Therese, actually, the Poconos Action Park was owned and operated by the same people who owned the Vernon, NJ location... hell, their advertising used the same typeface, logos, and advertised the Vernon NJ location... that should be evidence enough. :D

@Therese, the Action Park in the Poconos WAS owned and operated by the same people as the one in Vernon, NJ.
