ReplyDeleteJust wanted to say that I grew up in downstate NY (right on Rt94!) and went to AP 30+ times. So many great memories. I have *really* enjoyed reading your column. Great to hear the behind-the-scenes stories. I am so sad that I never thought of working there and instead ended up guarding at my high school pool instead. :(

Random tidbit, but they're re-opening Surf Hill - same location, from the looks of the only available photo - on the Monutain Creek website - tracks are either heavily refurbished, or new.
